This site will update those interested in events that could be linked to what some refer to as the "Lucifer Project", a possible NASA experiment to alter planets Jupiter and Saturn.  Our 5th Edition will refer to this as "Jovian Transformation Hypothesis" or JOTH.  Previous editions of this book were titled: The Philosopher's Stone for the Transformation of Jupiter - Project Lucifer.

If our theory is valid we would expect to see infrared dynamics change (increase) on Jupiter first and that is what seems to be happening. EVENT LIST   Infrared (IR) emanating from a fusion reaction would be able to penetrate the thick atmosphere of Jupiter whereas other wavelengths would have more trouble.

Jupiter "Impactors" vs. "Electrical Voltage Discharges"

A summary of the evidence for Jupiter flashes being electrical voltage discharges and not impacts, and the problems for conventional impact theory for the marks and flashes, are presented below:

A- Size of impactors must be constrained to incredibly small for what they are producing in light for the flashes (else convention says they certainly MUST leave a scar and heat signature).  As a result the conventional theory has already constrained the supposed impactors to 10 meters +/- diameter.

“Small impacts of 10 m-class objects have also been detected by the short one- to two-second fireballs produced as these objects enter the atmosphere of the planet releasing large amounts of energy (Hueso et al. 2010b). Three of these Jovian superbolides have been found in video observations obtained by amateur astronomers on June 3, 2010, August 20, 2010, and September 10, 2012…”

Conventional theorists have assumed "impact" from the very start and went that direction.  They tried to claim the light signature was consistent with the impact theory but no other light theory has been tested or compared sufficiently.  Furthermore, no heat signature or debris what-so-ever has been spotted with any of the flashes.  This is a problem for the standard theory since it constrains the objects to about 10 meters yet produces, somehow, a tremendous light outburst for about 2 seconds that is easily imaged from Earth.  10m-class impactors were chosen as the likely maximum diameter of these new and strange "impacts" because a larger class would make it hard to explain why no debris or heat signature was detected.   Another quote from this recent paper studying these phenomena states: 

“…it is unlikely that impactors similar to the 2010 and 2012 objects generate a debris field that can be observed from Earth.  However, the simulations suggest that the thermal shock signature of a small impactor could be detected from Earth-based telescopes in in-mediate observations after a small impact.”

Their 10-meter +/- size rating for the latest four supposed Jupiter “impactors” puts the impactor theory right on the edge of believability, but not really even then, since there is a complete lack of post-impactor evidence, and the theory breaks down more as they try to explain away the tremendous light flashes that some astronomers have felt compelled to even call “explosions”.


B- Number of flashes? This has recently been revised to 6-7 flash events PER YEAR.  The previous estimate from conventional astronomers was 6-30 “potentially detectable flashes” per year (ones we can see from Earth if we were imaging) according to their estimates based on the small amount that we have detected: ..this extrapolates to 6-30 "potentially detectable" impacts per year.” http://www.aanda.org/articles/aa/pdf/2013/12/aa22216-13.pdf (article link for estimate of flashes by various astronomers).

From just a logic and reason perspective we are seeing EXPLOSIVE flashes on Jupiter easily from Earth (especially the most current three); there is not any way that a 10-meter-class objects can be causing this sort of display at this extreme distance!  Think for a minute about the massive flashes we are seeing and ask yourself: “Is that a 10 meter object?!”  (fyi: the Galileo craft was a "10-meter object" and certainly no flashes were expected, predicted, or witnessed with its plunge into Jupiter).

What could be the other causes of flashes in the atmosphere of Jupiter besides impacting objects?

There really is only one other plausible cause: an electrical event of some sort akin to lightning. Lightning is defined in this way: “a brilliant electric spark discharge in the atmosphere; an electrical voltage discharge with a primary bolt and usually secondary bolts shooting in several directions, caused by a discharge of an electrical potential created between two mediums.” Lightning serves as a re-balancing mechanism.

With the latest two flash events you can see separate secondary bolts as they reach the surface. What could be causing such an outburst of electrical energy from Jupiter of the likes we have never seen before?  This is where JOTH theory answers most questions.

The following is from personal communications from a retired engineer, and a very knowledgeable source.  It refers to evidence of a P-P fusion event (and subsequent electrical activity) going on inside Jupiter:

“Plasma, the fourth state of matter, is a miasma of atomic nuclei which have been stripped completely of all their electrons (i.e., fully ionized). This plasma state of matter can only exist at very high thermodynamic temperatures… So, a plasma is a jumble of protons and neutrons in various bound combinations which actually define the nuclei of the various elements and their isotopes, and including many free neutrons in this plasma mix. For various reasons, an “alpha particle” consisting of two protons and two neutrons tightly bound and comprising the nucleus of a standard helium atom, is one of the most stable forms in nature and is quite inert.

A proton is basically a neutron which is missing the electric charge of one electron, so protons strongly repel each other electrically. Without their electron shells, the chemical and mechanical characteristics of the elements are changed completely. Except for mass, these characteristics of each element are pretty much defined at our normal thermodynamic temperatures (about 300 degrees K) by the outer electron shells which they present to the outside world. The complete loss or regaining of all of these electrons during gas to plasma phase changes would necessitate huge electron current flows; hence the extreme lightning-like effects observed [on Jupiter] as surface flashes.”  [highlighting by JEC]

What James Boatright is saying above is, indeed, a fusion reaction deep inside would create the necessary dynamics (gas to plasma phase changes) that cause huge electric outbursts at Jupiter’s surface.

An online astronomy source, Universe Today.com, also chimes in accidentally on this subject from an article a few years back:

“What if there was a nuclear explosion inside Saturn’s atmosphere? Well, it looks like it would be a pretty boring affair. I dare say a few lively electrical storms might be generated…”

An admission that “lively electrical storms” are what is to be expected due to nuclear activity below in a gas giant.

Additionally, with the "Wesley mark" (Expulsion Mark) from July 2009, also called an “impact”, there was verified abundant silica ejection, this forced them to change a theory they did not want to change concerning asteroids hitting Jupiter (Jupiter was to have cleared out all asteroids millions of years ago), since silica could not be coming from a comet impact. JOTH theory says the silica sourced from Jupiter's core! -- No asteroids needed! 

Also, the Wesley mark did not produce "impact scars" (compression waves, "eyebrows", etc.) and the mark held in relative place while sputtering out black stuff eastward for several weeks; this also was not the proper actions of an impact mark. This expulsion mark was the key signature event and was clear evidence that something drastic had started to alter Jupiter’s core or center.

Book Summary:


Before any of the recent supposed five “impacts” of the last several years were witnessed on Jupiter (including the latest on May 26, 2017), a warning was given that we should expect strange events on the planet as a result of NASA’s previous insertion of GPHS-RTG's and LWRHU’s (nuclear-powered heating devices of which the Galileo spacecraft and probe carried).

'Jovian Transformation' theory allows these devices to penetrate very deeply using an iridium-based clad or alternatively a platinum/rhodium alloy clad, near 90% Jupiter radius (10% left to reach center), before fissioning and then causing a subsequent fusion reaction, sustained; this operating in the same way a nuclear implosion device works conventionally on Earth, but much more efficiently deep inside Jupiter at 30-40 million bars pressure, 10% from the center.

Jupiter supplies a very even implosion pressure mechanism on the devices, and plutonium-238 oxide supplies a sudden volume change needed at the proper time during supercritical (a special high-pressure phase change either from Delta to special Alpha, Epsilon to Liquid, or Zeta phase-related), and the delivery devices remain intact deep into Jupiter until this proper time based on the “equation of state” of the carbon casings and, more importantly, the  EOS of clads of iridium for the GPHS-RTG fuel pellets or platinum-rhodium for the LWRHU fuel pellets in which the plutonium-238 oxide pellets are carried and protected. Plutonium-238 (see Note 3 below) is fissionable (capable of sustained fission), and the Galileo mission, delivered plutonium-laden 144 GPHS-RTG fuel pellets  and 120 Light-Weight Radio-isotopic Heater Units (LWRHU’s), into Jupiter from 1995 to 2003.  These devices contained plutonium-238 oxide.

Jupiter's natural hydrogen make-up provides the ongoing fuel to keep a modest low-level fusion reaction going only at the extreme depths in a plasma state once the fission spark was delivered. The fission spark was something Jupiter could not provide itself.

Since the time of the writing of the author's first articles starting in 2003 (a prelude to the book) there have been six supposed major and highly visible “impacts” that have not matched the signature of what we saw with the SL-9 impacts of 1994, or a signature that was even plausible given all of the parameters.  Equally, with the later Jupiter flash events, the evidence simply does not add up to “impacts” in any regard.

The theory contends that NONE of the last six said “impacts” of July 2009, June 2010, August 2010, September 2012, March 2016, and May 2017 are actually impacts, but actually events generated from deep inside Jupiter as a result of a fission to fusion reaction in July of 2009 that has been consolidated to a very modest portion of the center of Jupiter, and whose 5-10 million Kelvin heat has been working its way outward since then to higher levels causing electrical disturbances as it goes.

These electrical disturbances are what is causing the massive voltage discharges witnessed in the last four “impacts”, that are not “hits” or “impacts” but flashes of lightning of immense proportions, voltage discharges as Jupiter is now forced to keep rebalancing itself electrically.

To quote Dan Petersen’s original report when he visually witnessed the recent Sept. 2012 flash event: “I observed an explosion on Jupiter this morning!" He did not say “minor flash” or anything of the sort. He used the word “explosion” for a reason, because of the great magnitude of the flashing light of 1.5 to 2 seconds that he had just witnessed. The latest three flashes are the most intense of the flashes we have so far beheld, and if we have now verified five on the dayside of Jupiter, certainly we have missed seeing an equal amount on the night side, and many more missed besides just these.  It has now been projected by the mainstream astro-community that there have been 6-7 of these flashes PER YEAR (potentially detectable) simply based on the fact that only around 10% of the flash events are getting imaged and then verified.

The July 2009 “impact” event came in the form of a massive black scar that appeared suddenly on Jupiter (sometimes called the “Wesley mark” after the astronomer who spotted it first). The theory contends this was the first indication of a major disturbance at the center of Jupiter; in fact, we contend this was the result of a long and large “thermal venting shaft” that was created during the initiation of a fusion reaction deep below (near the center of the planet). The shaft was formed from hydrogen plasma, heat and heated particles trying to escape the innards of Jupiter having fusion-level heat and less density than allowed there (heat of 5 million Kelvin), and some of this heat and material violently erupted out of Jupiter July 19, 2009 causing the “Wesley mark” full of silica. Since then, the said reaction (weak when compared to the Sun’s) has consolidated at Jupiter’s center and is slowly working its heat outward level by level.

Note the said Wesley scar, once spectrum-analyzed, was said to contain “abundant silica” which would not be possible for comet debris. So scientists reversed their theory on asteroids at Jupiter and claimed that the scar had to have been caused by an asteroid with silica (yet Jupiter was supposed to have cleared all asteroids out of its realm millions of years ago). If they had read the Project Lucifer (JOTH) account they would remember that silica is also found at the center of Jupiter, and incredibly, some of it was being expelled to the surface!

Also note that the two imaged enormous flashes on Jupiter in 2010 were near-antipodal, that means “on direct opposite ends of the sphere and going through the exact center”, when the locations are charted with respect to true internal Jupiter core rotation, known as “L3” or “sysIII” longitude coordinates. This is significant because it further supports the contention that these flashes are actually electrical surges or discharges sourcing from Jupiter’s center and travelling in opposite directions to the surface as an electrical charge would. The reason for a 78-day delay between the two flashes in 2010 is likely from one side of the electrical discharge encountering more resistance than the other.  Jovian theory has Jupiter very conductive in its lower 2/3, but very insulative at its upper 1/3, hence much insulative resistance to overcome at the upper levels.

All documented Jupiter flash events since 2009 produced absolutely no debris or heat signature, and what is more, no incoming objects were spotted for any on the “flash impacts”. What the flashes actually portend, especially the latest, is that indeed if such a fusion reaction were started, similar to the one in the Sun but much smaller and less intense, it is ongoing, sustained, and continues to develop and change Jupiter from the inside out.

 
Additional notes:

There are these Jupiter hang-ups some people have, but they are not justified:

1) "Jupiter is too small to be a star or create sustained fusion, not enough mass."

The "mass" problem is why it can't create sufficient temps by itself to go to fusion, but if you MANIPULATE how the temperature is created, then you have solved the problem. At that point Jupiter self-regulates the intensity of the fusion reaction that it can handle, which is modest compared to the Sun, but still viable (smaller proportion of inside sphere actually in fusion, and this in lower fusion density as compared to the Sun).  General comparison with proportional MASS OUTSIDE the fusion area to MASS INSIDE the fusion area helps a smaller proportional fusion sphere (Jupiter's compared to the Sun's) stay intact.

2) "Everything would have burnt up from the GAEP craft upon entry."  "Everything from Galileo spacecraft burnt up on entry."

This is certainly NOT true because they forgot the GAEP (Probe) had 17 LWRHU's that went in BEHIND a heat shield. After that the equation of state of platinum/30-rhodium allows the clads to bring the plutonium deep into Jupiter without melting.  The LWRHU clads (inside protecting the fuel) never melted, just increased their melting point due to pressure applied. 

As far the the RTG's from the actual spacecraft plunge in 2003, it is known that around 25% of uncontrolled Earth re-entry of craft parts survive to hit the ground.  On Jupiter, the percent would be less but still significant so several of the RTG pellets also survived entry inside iridium-based clads.

3) Some people originally claimed; "The primary plutonium used (Pu-238) is not fissionable or fissile."

Absolutely FALSE. It has been proven to be fissionable and fissile.  A 1962 Nevada test proved it capable of a sustained fission reaction, additionally Richard Garwin of the Jason Group showed Galileo’s proportional mix to be viable for purposes of a small yield nuclear reaction. Also, there is Pu-239 along with the Pu-238, which is even more fissile. Important -- Additionally, it is not necessary to have a huge kiloton result; only a small one, any initial fissile fissioning event is all that is required to produce the tremendous heat to set off fusion. With such a great containment time in 30+ million bars of pressure deep inside Jupiter, over one trillion Kelvin can be achieved with the fission spark. This is overkill for fusion to start in the high-pressure hydrogen (hydrogen will go from gas to liquid to metallic and plasma at some point in the depths).

Other Items:

Dan Peterson initially reported the 9/10/12 Jupiter flash at +12, 257 lat/long (sys III). This coordinate has now been revised to a more correct +2, 264 (sys III).

What the LATEST 3/17/16 and 5/26/17 flashes most likely verify is that the initial fusion reaction that produced the “Wesley mark”, and subsequent antipodal electrical discharges, DID NOT FIZZLE OUT because several years after these first imaged flashes we have other colossal “explosions” on the surface verified. So, congratulations should be in order for the makers of this weird stellar thing; it appears you have pulled off an astounding feat, the implications and timing of which we still do not fully know!


It is equally likely that an even more improved catalyst similar to RHU's were inserted into Jupiter within the last 30 years, completely unknown to the masses; as it also likely new and improved technology, past what has been admitted, has been used to improve the project if there is such a clandestine venture to alter Jupiter.
